Huna

History of the world part 6

When some semblance of stability returned, the survivors looked out upon a new Earth. The continent of Mu was no more. Only scattered islands remained in a vast and empty ocean. Around the world, people reverted to primitive survival and began the arduous climb toward civilization again. In many places the Mu were blamed for what had happened and they had to go into hiding to escape persecution. These lonely, scattered groups gave rise to later stories of magical ‘little people’ found in almost every culture. The orders they created continued without them, except for rare contact by a very limited number of adepts.
Other civilizations rose and fell. Among them was brilliant Atlantis, which almost achieved world domination before, in lesser imitation of Mu, it tore itself apart in a war that sent it to the bottom of the ocean. Meanwhile, the tradition of Huna was carried on my small groups who clothed the teaching in the culture of their locations. The majority of these lost contact with one another, but they continued to teach and heal and train. In some cases they were able to keep the simplicity of point that the fundamental knowledge was virtually lost, and good practices were carried on with a false understanding of their nature.

History of the world part 5

For many centuries things were going well on Earth and a world civilization was in the making when the Mu made a fatal mistake. For quite awhile they had maintained contact with their brethern who had settled on the other planet in the solar system, but eventually they turned all their attention on Earth and left the others to themselves. Then there came a time when desperate calls for help came from the sister planet. The people there were on the verge of destroying themselves and quick intervention was needed. Unfortunately, the Earth Mu had grown complacent and didn’t want anything to disturb their peace, so they closed their ears to the pleas and tried to pretend it didn’t concern them. In this they acted contrary to their own philosophy.
With nothing to stop them, the people of the other planet created more and more terrible weapons of destruction to use against each other until the final, awful moment came. They reached a point where they blew their whole planet apart in a mighty cataclysm that rocked the solar system. The complete disappearance of an entire planet caused and immense imbalance, which the forces of nature sought to correct. In so doing, the orbits of the remaining planets were disrupted and the effect on Earth was devastating. Our planet was tumbled into a new orbit a little further from the sun, and the stress of the change caused intense volcanic and earthquake activity. Old lands sank beneath the seas in some places and new lands rose in others. The toll of death and destruction was indescribable.
