Recognizing old patterns
Affirmation for today:
It is safe for me to let go of old habits.
We begin very early to develop habits that run counter to our natural energy, habits that are designed to help us survive in the neurotic world in which we find ourselves. We pick up these patterns from our families, friends, teachers, and the community in general. Eventually we begin to see that these habits are no longer serving us. Through becoming aware of them, we take the first and most important step toward releasing them.

Trust your body
Having a beautiful body starts with following the natural flow of your energy. We have been taught to distrust our bodies and see them as needing to be controlled. Trust yourself. Sleep as much as you want. Stay in bed if you need more rest. Express yourself physically in ways that feel good. Eat what your body desires and follow your heart. If you are willing to trust your body, you’ll learn what’s best for you.
